After reading this little passage my brother had sent me, it had a profound effect on me. I thinking you can imagine why. Since starting LME I did get a lot of drawback from people who were closest to me. They would ask,"how much time do you put in a day to make this happen?". I would answer," as long as it takes". One of the biggest questions I still get is "how much money do you make off of it?" That question really pains me sometimes. If you read this passage and put yourself in the shoes of someone trying to bring something new to people, only then would one think before asking questions like that.
I wanted to address that it is just not myself that puts in the work to create LME. It is not just the team I have assembled that shares my passion for local music. The people who are really in the front lines are the artist and band members themselves. These are the individuals that are in it day in and day out to provide entertainment of the truest form. When I meet new bands or hand out with bands members that have become good friends of mine, It is always in the back of my mind that it is such a pleasure and honor to hang out with such talent. This talent always exceeds what you hear on mainstream media, Bar None!
If you are part of the Southern CA. Music Scene, we are in this together. It is our duty to take care of our own. I understand not everybody will always have the money to go out every night of the week, but just think how far it would go when you run into a flyer on social media that share button alone is opening doors for those performers. If we don't support ourselves, Who Will?
Well Saturday December 22nd will definitely be a day that I remember for a very long time. This is the night I got to witness Santos y Sinners doing what they do best! I walk into Gallagher's Pub in HB and order my usual to set the mood for some good music. Anybody that knows me that I am a fan of deep rooted music and I always anticipate what I am about to hear by what the band is setting up. I have never been so blown away how these guys opened up their set. What they have put together is nothing short of phenomenal. Razor sharp guitar playing, gritty whiskey delta harp, soulful precision bass and rockin percussion! These guys bring what the blues truly is out of your soul! They played a song called "Long Long Road", that is available for free. There is nothing like listening to the blues when it is deep rooted and played with a heart's passion. I was trying to get as close as I could to capture what they had in store for us. Everybody was celebrating what they were hearing in their own way, dancing, head nodding screaming and yelling, it was all happening. All in all, everybody's feet were moving! I may have danced with woman or two myself somewhere in the back during their set. I am telling you. If you are looking for some great, classy yet dirty down home blues. These are the guys that you want to clear you schedule for!
Now I did learn something about this band and where their roots come from. One thing that I heard during their set was," Hey everybody download our song Long Long Road, we made it free so that when we get together again we can all sing it together"! I learned later what that song is about and what makes it so great. This track is a celebration of a loved one that has been called back home. They talk about the Long Long Road back home and their personal implications. This is what music is all about, sharing good times, bad times, triumphs and struggles. Let's get this song and sing it together!
Santos y Sinners, I know you have a huge fan-base and I am definitely one of them and can't wait to get together again in the near future!

Let me tell you a little about what to expect if you have the chance to catch this band rockin out on a weekend. Let me tell you about my Glass Radio experience. They had invited Cheryl and I to come out to their show out in Laguna Niguel at a spot called the Karman Bar, pretty cool spot for live music by the way, and I will say this once you meet these guys they take you in like you have been friends forever. Just a great group of guys that exude what a rock atmosphere is all about. These guys take the stage and the show starts off with Nate, lead guitarist, runnin up and down his fret board like a killer mongoose, while Nick and Kyle, drummer and bassist, lay down the rhythm with military precision to an old Xmas favorite Carol of the Bells! Yes! Carol of the Bells! The show goes on as they never skip a beat hitting their flagship songs, Are you going my way, and Sugar and Salt, like a you are hearing them for the first time. Even if you didn't know the words, you were pickin up what they were layin down. Nothin like jumpin up and down and throwin up the goat. About halfway through the show they invited their good friends, Filmspeed, up to the stage for a Xmas surprise. Just to let you know the humor these guys have, they bring up helium balloons, inhale, then waltz into a funny ass rendition of the Alvin and the Chipmunks song,"Christmas don't be late". It was the most hilarious thing I have seen in a long long time. These guys know how to get a crowd going and lose themselves in the process. These guys would not stop! One after another they are belting out their songs with legendary force. I am definitely a fan of Glass Radio and highly recommend you attending one of their shows in the near future. If you guys are reading this, Glass Radio, I had a blast and I can't wait to make it out to your next show. To you new fans tune in to what we know as Glass Radio by following them on social media and treat yourself to a show that you will not want to end.

My name is Rey C, and I wanted to give a little insight of what we are trying to accomplish here at Local Music Experience. As a whole, our passion is to bring the "REAL" music of Southern California. I am talking about those musicians who put their heart and soul in what they do. These are the talented individuals that represent where we are from. The taglines, "Where fans and bands come together", and "Making the local scene the mainstream one band at a time", I hold near and dear and truly support what it is we are trying to accomplish. My team and I have created a platform for the bands to get their music heard, and give the ability for music fans to discover new and deep rooted music written by our fellow Southern Californians. So I ask you to tune in to LME Live and listen what these musicians have in store for us. We have put a, "Join the Experience", feature on our new app so you, THE FANS, can MEET UP with the LME Team every weekend to show our love and support for our own local artist. Please do not hesitate to introduce yourself and share some ideas. I look forward to seeing you at the show!
